The Teeth in an hour concept, developed by Nobel Biocare, allows for collaboration between both the restorative prosthodontist and the implantologist surgeon.

The process starts when a CAT scan is taken that allows the generation of a 3-D model of the jawbone, which can then be used in virtual reality software to plan the implant placement.

Teeth-in-an-hour Dental Implant Procedure

		2. Take Panoramic X-ray & CT Scan A digital panoramic x-ray film is normally taken. For Teeth-in-hour concept, a CT Scan taken of the arches in checking bone condition and for analytical planning.

		3. Computerized Planning & CT Scan Upon delivery of the CT Scan results, an radiographic aligner guide with index markings is done. 		4. Fabricate Surgical Template and Final Prosthetics The final marked information is sent to the Nobel Biocare dental laboratory based in the USA for the surgical template and final prosthetics to be made.

		5. Dental Implant Placement and Fit Prosthetics Upon delivery of the surgical template and final prosthetics, the titanium implant post are placed in jaw using the template. The final prosthetics is then fitted onto the dental implant enabling a teet-in-an-hour concept.
