		Metal braces Metal braces are the conventional form of braces. With today's advances in materials, brackets are now smaller than before and you can express your individuality with different-colored elastics or o-rings.

		Clear braces or ceramic braces Clear braces, ceramic braces or tooth colored braces make orthodontic treatment nearly invisible, making it a popular aesthetic choice in braces today.

		Damon system braces Damon system braces consists of both clear and metal parts allowing braces to be less visible without the need of elastic bands.

		Lingual or internal braces Lingual or internal braces are attached to the inside or lingual side of the teeth which makes them completely non-visible. Each lingual bracket is custom-formed to the unique shape of each individual tooth with only certain clinicians able to offer this form of specialized treatment. The advanced lingual orthodontics method are well-suited for adults and individuals whose professions keep them in the public eyes as no one can tell they are wearing braces.

		Invisalign Invisalign, patented from the USA, uses a series of clear removable aligners to straighten teeth. Invisalign are removable and comfortable. Invisalign are however not suited for all cases and individuals would need to consult with their orthodontists before determining if Invisalign is suited for him/her.

		Clear aligners or Essix braces Clear aligners are similiar to Invisalign whereby a series clear removable aligners are used to straighten teeth. Essix braces are the common brand for these clear aligners that are made in local laboratories for fitting.

		Removable Appliances Removal appliances nclude retainers and active plates. Retainers are normally worn after fixed braces are removed in maintaining teeth in preventing relapses. Active plates are commonly worn by children in guiding their erupting teeth into specific positions.
